Track description/interpretation:
When They Come For Me is a rap rock song, which speaks to people who don't care what negative people have to say about change, the negative people have to get over it. Since changing is for the better, and it's not bad to change yourself. Don't let negative words, and stern glares get to you. Changing something or yourself does not hurt anybody in anyway, it's your decision and you can do whatever you please in your life.

When Elliot was younger at the age of fifteen, he was always afraid of change, afraid that people would not like him. He was expected to do great in school, but he didn't quite favor that. Elliot always wanted to be something more in his life, not to be a puppet controlled by the school system. Yet he never really expressed that, afraid that his parents would be ashamed of him. Never wanting to face the fact that his parents would 'possibly' disown him, which made him terribly afraid. At the age of sixteen his close friend noticed that he looked a bit exhausted, and seen that he really didn't do his work anymore. Which he confronted Elliot asking him what was wrong, Elliot confided in his friend and told him how he didn't want this life anymore. That he wanted to be something the he pulls off as the real him, which his friend told him that you don't have to worry. There will be people out there that will judge you, but it's not hurting them. They are your decisions, and what you decide to do in life is what you will do. No one will judge you for that, not even me.
Elliot soon started to dye his hair strand by strand, people made shocked faces. Yet others that he did not even know complimented him, he enjoyed that. His parents did not agree on his decisions, which he did not care one bit. Seventeen he realized he wanted to take up rapping, which he began to write his own lyrics. Elliot felt free and alive, he loved everything that was changing around him and knowing that he decided to drop out of school once it was his birthday. He told his parents and his father did not want anything to do with his son, telling him that if he decides to do this then leave their home. Elliot was devastated, but realized he could make it on his own. Confidence had run through him, and he was not giving up now. Once his birthday came he dropped out, and proceeded after his future goal. Currently he now has developed many piercings that he enjoys dearly, and a few tattoos on his left arm. Elliot's enjoying life, and working at a music store. Still pursuing his goal and wants to get a record label signed, he can't give up now.
